Options to Add Overrides for Forecasting Only (Without Affecting Billing)

In Oracle Fusion ERP, the standard override functions in Contract Billing Schedules and Overrides are designed to impact both forecasting and billing, since contract billing and project revenue recognition are tightly integrated.
Is there any other way to adjust project forecast (override function) without impacting billing?

Are you open to custom BI Report for Forecasting View
If you need to show a "forecast-adjusted" report without altering billing:
- Use OTBI or BI Publisher to create a custom report
- Pull forecast data independently from contract billing data

Hello RVohra,
Thanks for checking on this.
Actually, we already have BI report.
We are looking for some way to have a forecasted rate of sorts added when needed vs. an overall adjustment.
Thank you!0 -
As per my knowledge, there is no standard way to override project forecasts without impacting billing using the default Contract Billing Schedules and Overrides functionality. Any override done here updates both the billing plan and associated revenue forecast.
You can try by adding DFF to store alternate forecast values (like “management-adjusted forecast”) and then build a custom OTBI that presents both the standard forecast and adjusted forecast side-by-side.
It could work but not sure unless we try. Thanks
