You posted in the Publisher category but the question sounds like being about the BI catalog. What product are you using?

Did you consider using Catalog Manager for the job? You can generate reports about catalog objects with it.

Thank you for your response. Yes, it is related to the BI Catalog.
We are looking for an API or database tables that can provide detailed folder permissions along with the audit history of roles and user actions for a specific folder.

Currently there is no API or database tables that can provide detailed folder permissions along with the audit history
