Could you give some examples when it doesn't work as expected? These will be helpful when the developers look at exploring this issue.

@DMD I've tested the undo action and I'm finding the below:

while you are still working inside the cell, Ctrl+Z will work (or the undo button in the action menu) and will undo code / markdown etc.
if you click off the cell (and into another cell chunk for example) this is when the undo action appears to be lost, and doesn't work as expected.

Do you find the same?
