Data Security on OAC Data Sets
It is currently not possible to apply data security on data sets. Users can either access everything or nothing. We operate in a multi-organisation/entity environment with Areas of Responsibility applied in Fusion and FDI to segregate data. We have a number of connections via OAC to 3rd party databases which we create datasets on.
We need to be able to apply data security on these datasets, preferably linked to the existing security model so that we can effectively manage access. Without this data security, we need to create multiple versions of the same data set and workbook so that they only have one organisations data in it. This can be anything from 4 versions minimum if we use entity to hundreds if we need to secure it by a lower level organisation.
This also slows the adoption of self service rollout as we cannot roll out self service author as there is a risk of a data breach with no security being applied.

You could try using the 'VALUEOF(NQ_SESSION.USERID)' in an expression filter against a custom table containing the security definitions.
