Mandatory Filters on Report

Looking for a way to have some parameters/filters to be mandatory (with single select/multi select option) on the FDI/FAW reports to avoid the possibility of running open ended query causing performance issues.

I am not sure if there is such feature available on FDI/FAW. If you, please advise.
