AP Business Unit Data Security Not Populating

We have users setup in ERP with explicit access to our AP Business Unit. When those uses come over to FDI, they are not being granted any AP data access. All other data access like Asset Books and Procurement BU is coming over properly. Is there a specific privilege or data security setting that is required for this to populate?

    @James McBride , Welcome to the Oracle Analytics Community!

    As per my understanding, FDI does not use ERP role/BU security only by default, it uses FDI security contexts and assignments. It means each user must have the FDI data role + an assigned ledger and AP business unit value in FDI for data to populate. Just having ERP access to the AP BU in Oracle Cloud ERP alone does not automatically grant data access inside FDI, it must be mapped to FDI security contexts.

    Check if you have enabled to synchronize data security assignments from ERP to FDI, using the "Security Configuration Option" functional area. You may want to check the Common Frequently Asked Questions .

    @RVohra @Silvio Garber-Oracle the solution seems to be a frustratingly inconsistent handling of data security by the tool. For all of our subledgers except for AR and AP we do not have to do any mapping and the tool picks up security assignment. AP and AR on the other hand have to be explicitly mapped. All subledgers should behave the same.
