Hi Shaily,
Welcome to the Oracle Analytics community and forum.
Do you mind providing some more details about your question?
Information like the product (and version) you are using and describe a bit more what you are seeing, and what expected to see instead. All these details are obvious for you as you are working on it, but here in the forum it isn't…
How often is the manager hierarchy data updated? Does the data expected to include historical, or only current?
I think this report is fusion OTBI analytics but details are missing as highlighted by Gianni. But on the looks of it, it looks like manager hirearchy refresh is missing. Can you please schedule below process if not done already:
Refresh Manager Hierarchies
Thanks.
Hi All,
I work with Shaily, and we are trying to determine why a specific dashboard is not using delivered expected security behaviour for a Line Manager. The dashboard that Shaily is referring to is within Fusion Data Intelligence (not OTBI Analytics). We run the refresh manager hierarchy regularly in Oracle HCM. We have one dashboard within Fusion Data Intelligence that is not behaving as expected for the supervisor security. We are using delivered Supervisor Hierarchy for the data security for our custom Line Manager role with FDI.
The Line Manager is seeing people who previously reported to him, not just people who currently report to him. The expected behaviour is that the Line Manager can see all people currently reporting to him and be able to see all the data in reports/dashboards within FDI for the people that currently report to him.
Note the subject area being used is: Workforce Core, and we are pulling in data from the Person Extensible Flexfield into this dashboard.
Any additional insight on this behaviour would be helpful.
Thank you!
Jen

You may try reloading the Workforce Management functional area.Reload Data for a Data Pipeline
Hi I had this with a previous customer. The reason for the difference is FAIDP is looking at this from a different lens than OTBI. Where OTBI is enabling a manager to look at the full history of the employees they currently have, FAIDP is looking at the performance of the manager at the time the person reported to them so for example, if 10 people had poor performance under a manager but are now under a different manager, why should the new manager look as though they weren't managing the staff well.
The way around this was to create a new hierarchy for the latest manager which took some work in the Data Warehouse to create the necessary table, followed by a semantic model extension for creating the new hierarchy. We called it Latest Manager Hierarchy.
Hi, I'm new to OTBI & FDI and need your help. Is it possible to do a report to identify missing default expense account in FDI or OTBI? Thanks for your help.
Hi Team We are using SCM- Maintenance subject areas for reporting . We enabled the Asset related DFFs (CSE_ASSETS_B) under Data Configuration successfully but the Asset DFFs are not reflecting under Descriptive Flexfield Folder . We do not see any Asset folder even under the Descriptive Flexfield folder . Please advise if…
We made some changes in the Fusion UI, and those changes were reflected correctly in OTBI but not in FDI. To refresh the data in FDI, the Oracle support team advised me to reload the relevant functional area (Absence Management). I navigated to Application Administration → Human Capital Management, selected Absence…
Data are synchronized with Oracle HCM and I can see PN 2470, which was terminated in the past. If I add any assignment information I find no records, why?
In an analysis/report, when the Bottom Up Manager details are selected from the hierarchy, the Top Position Person record drops out. This is due to the fact that this top level position does not have a record in the Fusion table : PER_MANAGER_HRCHY_CF which is the source to load OAX$OAC.DW_MANAGER_CF_DH . The requirement…
