How can we pull extensible flex field information from oracle fusion to oracle analytics reports,if this is configured in oracle fusion, similar to DFF I do not see any option to enable EFF in oracle FDI which would extract data from Fusion EFF and loading it to Oracle FDI.

Are the EFFs surfaced in a PVO? If they are, you could use Data Augmentation to bring them into the data warehouse then create the semantic model extensions to surface them in subject areas.

If not in a standard PVO, you could create your own.

  • @User_7AIAG , as per my understanding, EFFs do NOT automatically flow into FDI the way many DFFs do and there is no “Enable EFF” checkbox in FDI. As per Oracle Doc, Extensible Flexfields must be BI-enabled to be exposed in Transactional Business Intelligence. This is before they can ever be extracted by reporting/extraction tools like BICC. Please check if by making it BI-enabled it can be loaded in FDI.

    Hope it helps!
