From where we can download Informatica 10.5.9 at Oracle portal

Hello Team,

It seems Oracle is providing Informatica license at Oracle portal/eDelivery.

But we are unable to find Informatica version 10.5.9 software at Oracle eDelivery. We need to upgrade Informatica to latest version. We do use OBIEE and BIP as well.

Whom should we reach out for help? Sales or licensing team at Oracle?

    Hi @User_E92Q6,

    Informatica 10.5.9 is not available through Oracle and it is not certified with OBIA.

    Version 10.4.1 was the last version available for download from Oracle for use you OBIA 7.9.6.4

    You could request an Enhancement Request via a SR, but its very unlikely any new Informatica version would be certified. The Oracle Business Intelligence Applications Statement of Direction is in KM article: KB422019

    Welcome to the Oracle Analytics and AI community and forums.

    If I'm not wrong, OBIA was using Informatica only up to version 7.9.6.4. For OBIA 7.9.6.4 premier support ended in 2018, extended support ended in 2021 and is now in sustaining support.

    Is that your case? Do you have a support contract for OBIA 7.9.6.4?

    Because it is such a old product with general support that ended years ago, I doubt the download is still available. And even if it is, not sure it would give you updated Informatica.

    Not sure if you can freely use Informatica as a standalone product when bought as part of OBIA, you could be pushing the boundaries of your licensing. Maybe have a chat with your account manager (if any at Oracle), to clarify if you are allowed to have access to Informatica. If the answer is yes, then that same account manager should be able to find how you are supposed to get it.
