Printing Checks from Oracle Cloud SaaS to Local Internal Printers
From a Network Architecture standpoint, I have the following questions regarding Oracle Fusion check printing:
Essentially, we are trying to eliminate the need to expose printers to the Internet.
1. What network connectivity options do you typically recommend for customers who need Oracle Fusion to print to on-premises printers over the internet?
2. Do you have integrations with third-party providers that enable check printing within a customer's environment?
3. Can you provide the list of CIDRs that Oracle Fusion Services will use to initiate the printing process?
4. Does Oracle SaaS Fusion support integration with a customer's print spooler instead of the printer itself?
5. We have a proposed network architecture; could we review this with you to see if it is a viable option?
1. Instead of companies exposing printers to Oracle Internet IPs, what other options exist to send data to printers? Can a server on the customer side pull data from the Oracle SaaS environment and then send the jobs to the printers? Expanding on Sam's question # 4.
2. Can OIC be used to send data through the OIC agent to the customer who can then create "print jobs" and then send the jobs to their internal printers?
Essentially, we are trying to eliminate the need to expose printers to the Internet.

Hi Chris,
You can generate check output (PDF/XML) using BI Publisher. Next customer side server pulls the generated file using SFTP or using Web API/REST APIs. Then local server send job to internal print server or spooler.
Oracle does not directly integrate with printers, but can integrate with Check printing vendors, Banking partners and secure document distribution providers.
Yes customer can pull data and print and the approach is
Oracle Fusion SaaS →> UCM / SFTP / Web APIs →> Customer On-Prem Print Service (Poller) →>
Enterprise Print Spooler →> Internal Printers
Kind regards,

Hi @ChrisN-EFX ,
Welcome to the Oracle Analytics and AI community.
As your questions are mostly (fully) related to Fusion, you should maybe consider visiting the forum that covers the Fusion products:
It is a parallel forum for Fusion and few others cloud products.
Here you will get answers related to Publisher as a technical product, but for details on Fusion (like CIDRs etc.), you should ask in the other forum.
