Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence currently does not provide a historical view of workflow approval transactions across HCM processes. The only available source in OTBI— Human Capital Management – Approval Notification Archive Real Time — retains approval notification data for only the last 30 days, which significantly limits analytical and audit capabilities.
With the volume of historical data arising for approval tasks, a datawarehouse is the right place to retain this data.
Many organizations require long-term historical approval data to support:

Audit and compliance requirements
Bottleneck and approver performance analysis
Trend analysis across quarters and fiscal years
Correlation of approvals with workforce actions (hire, promotion, termination, compensation changes, etc.)

Without historical persistence of approval workflows in FDI, customers are forced to build custom extracts, shadow tables, or external data warehouses, which undermines the value proposition of FDI as a centralized, governed analytics platform.
This enhancement would deliver significant value to customers by enabling enterprise-wide approval analytics, improving governance, and reducing reliance on custom solutions.
