How to join Talent Acquisition Logical Star with Age Band Dimensions in FDI?
I am working with Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) and I need to create a report in Talent Acquisition that includes Age Band distribution for candidates/applicants.
I am looking for the best way to link the Logical Star for Talent Acquisition (specifically around Job Applications/Candidates) with the correct dimension for Age Bands.
Does the Talent Acquisition Logical Star already include a dimension where Age Band values are stored?
Which Dimension should I join with the Talent Acquisition Fact table to retrieve the Age Bands?
Thanks
Claudia

Hi @ClaudiaManea The candidate dob is not available in HCM - Talent Acquisition subject area. Unless the dob value is available, we cannot build the report using custom age bands and the candidate counts.

Hi @Raghavendra Raghunath-Oracle,
Thank you for the update! I am currently working on this and I actually managed to bring the Date of Birth (DOB) into the Subject Area by joining it with the
Dim - Person ID.Now that I have the DOB available in my report, I am looking for the best way to establish a connection to an Age Band dimension. Specifically:
- Is there a standard Age Band dimension in FDI that I can now link to this DOB?

Hi @ClaudiaManea are these candidates that turned into employees or still the candidates with job application? There is this age band dimension available but that is wired to the worker age. In TA subject area, the candidate is not same as the worker. So, only a custom calculation created based on the candidate age can be used to create the candidate age band.

Thanks @Raghavendra Raghunath-Oracle
:)
I am trying to replicate the dynamic behavior of the 'Worker Age Band' from Workforce Core in a custom SQL query for Candidates.
While OAC uses the metadata view
OAX$OAC.RC_CONTENT_PARAM_BAND, this isn't accessible or populated for SQL users in our instance. Since these bands are maintained in the FDI Console, they must be persisted somewhere in the OAX$DW schema to be used in ETL or Star Schemas.Could you confirm which physical table in ADW (OAX$DW) holds the activated configuration for
BAND_NAME = 'Worker Age Band'? I am looking for the DWH source ofMIN_RANGE,MAX_RANGE, andRANGE_LABELso I can join it with my fact tables dynamically.0 -
sure, let me check with the engineering team and get back to you on this
