I think I would prefer this at a higher privilege such as Modeler role rather than Author… or better still a single role that allows for scheduling that can be mapped into a user group. Giving all authors this power is risky.

Hello, yes, we need this from a self-service delivery point-of-view. We are using sovereign cloud where the Schedule option does not exist but it does exist for commercial cloud. For latter you need the BI Service Administrator role or a custom role with privileges which allow scheduling.
