Hi Analytics & AI Community,
I came across this short Oracle video — “What Is Oracle AI Data Platform?” — and thought it would be a great one to share here in the Lounge.
In just a couple of minutes, the video introduces the idea behind Oracle AI Data Platform: bringing together trusted enterprise data, business context, analytics, governance, and AI capabilities into a unified foundation for enterprise AI.
What stood out to me is the focus on a very practical challenge: AI only becomes valuable when it is grounded in the right data, understands business context, and can be embedded into real workflows where decisions actually happen.
A few key takeaways:
- Enterprise AI needs trusted, governed data — not fragmented copies across systems.
- Business context matters because AI models do not automatically understand how each organization defines metrics, relationships, and processes.
- AI becomes more impactful when it is connected to analytics, applications, workflows, and agents.
- Oracle AI Data Platform positions data, analytics, governance, and AI as part of one connected enterprise experience.
