Oracle AI Data Platform Agents are now generally available, delivering powerful new capabilities for building, connecting, and orchestrating intelligent agents across enterprise data, tools, and applications. With this release, organizations can coordinate multiple agents, connect them to external tools and services, enable communication across agent platforms, and build and test agent experiences through visual and code-based workflows.
What’s new with general availability?
Multi-agent orchestration
Create specialized agents for different tasks and use a supervisor agent to coordinate their work, route requests, and combine results into a single response.
Model Context Protocol (MCP) support
Connect AI Data Platform agents to supported external tools and services through the MCP, using either the visual builder or code builder.
Agent-to-Agent (A2A) interoperability
Use the A2A protocol to enable deployed AI Data Platform agents to communicate and collaborate with compatible agents and platforms. According to the product team, this includes integration with Oracle Fusion agents.
Enhanced agent development experience
AI Data Platform provides visual and code-based experiences for building agents, along with AI Compute for testing tools, using Playground sessions, and deploying agent applications.
The general availability release also includes reliability, performance, and usability improvements across the agent development experience.
