Is there any way to invoke or trigger FDI data pipeline jobs externally — for example, via a REST API call, or any other integration method — instead of manually initiating the job from within the admin console UI?

Based on the information available, it appears that triggering FDI data pipeline jobs externally (for example, via a public REST API or another supported integration method) is not currently supported.
The following Oracle Community discussion indicates that there is no public API available for this purpose and that, based on the current product design, there doesn't appear to be a supported workaround:
