In subject area: Procurement-Purchasing Real Time is PO line amount column available out of the box

Hi Experts,

We are trying to create a report using OTBI to extract the PO line amount - Do we have the column which extracts the PO line amount out of the box available under subject area: Procurement-Purchasing Real Time or do we need to calculate it using the formula -

PO Line Amount = Ordered Quantity × Unit Price

Any thoughts?

In 'Procurement – Purchasing Real Time' Subject Area, Oracle documents the PO quantity at the 'PO line level', while the 'Ordered Amount' is available at the 'PO distribution level'. Oracle's documentation does not identify a separate OOTB 'PO Line Amount' measure at the PO-line grain.

Therefore, if the requirement is specifically to report the 'PO line amount', you may need to calculate it using 'Ordered Quantity × Unit Price' - assuming this is the intended definition of line amount for the business requirement.

I would recommend validating the calculation against a few sample POs, particularly where there are multiple distributions, taxes, discounts or other pricing considerations as the resulting amount may not necessarily correspond to the delivered 'Ordered Amount'.
