Question regarding BI Publisher Outputs

Hi All,

I have a question regarding the BI Publisher Outputs. I have configured the rtf template output as Excel but when the XML Report Publisher program completes and I click on View Output, the output opens in a browser and renders as an HTML.

Can some one please assist why this is so. The BI Publisher version is 10.1.3.4.2

Please note if the same template is configured to be Output as PDF then it works perfectly without issue.
