All local subject area has disappeared after functional area reload data

Question

We made some changes in the Fusion UI, and those changes were reflected correctly in OTBI but not in FDI. To refresh the data in FDI, the Oracle support team advised me to reload the relevant functional area (Absence Management). I navigated to Application Administration → Human Capital Management, selected Absence Management, and clicked Run Now under the Data Maintenance tab to reload the data. The reload process completed successfully; however, after the job finished, I was no longer able to see any of the local subject areas in FDI.

Anyone facing this issue?

Hi @Priya Parthiban,

A successful Absence Management reload should refresh data and it should not normally remove local subject areas. Was that a Production instance? Check permissions first. If that does not help and if you have the same Local SA in a Dev instance, you could migrate it to Production in a Semantic Model Bundle. Deploy it to Production using merge, not replace, unless the full impact to existing Production customizations has been reviewed. Validate and publish, then re-test subject-area visibility.
