hi All,
The existing FDI pre-built artifacts/Common Subject Areas give us useful information about data reload and warehouse refresh activities. However, I see a gap when troubleshooting Data Augmentation execution at row level.
For example, we have a BI Publisher report returning approximately 1M rows, but the corresponding FDI Data Augmentation fetches/loads only around 2K rows and still shows Completed. From the status alone, it is difficult to identify where the remaining records were excluded or lost.
As an FDI administrator, it would help to have one consolidated execution view showing:
DA Start → Source Rows Fetched → Rows Processed → Rows Rejected/Skipped → Rows Committed → DA End → Duration → Status/Error
I referred to Oracle's warehouse refresh statistics documentation and have also used the pre-built Common Subject Areas for reload/refresh information.
The key question is: Do we have an Oracle-supported FDI/ADW object, subject area, or telemetry that provides this complete DA execution trace? If not, what exact diagnostic information should we request from Oracle Support when raising an SR for cases such as the 1M-vs-2K discrepancy?
Regards,
Guru
