    Hi,

Are you able to view switch authentication mode page? There will be step1 and step2. Are you able to see that or is it error ed out before that? If possible share us the screenshot.

    Thanks,

    Yaswanth

Yes first & second both steps are visible. Error happens only after I hit Finish button

    Hi,

In the step-1 tab, I could see the login as "Dev-WorkRepository". It should be connecting to master repository as all the security objects will be stored there.

Before switching the authentication mode, can you go to your connection pool and select only the master repository, test the connection and then try again.

Which external authentication you are using? Please check the below document which may help you.

How To Configure ODI for External Authentication (Doc ID 1510392.1)

    Thanks,

Thanks a lot for your kind reply.

      1. Actually name "Dev-WorkRepository" is bit misleading as I connect to both Work & Master Repository with same name, all I do is change Radio button.

      2. I tried again with making sure Master Repository is selected but same error.

      3. Reviewing document you provided. Just FYI this external authentication use to work fine, one of the developer switched to internal by mistake & now we can't go back to external. I wonder whats broken.

    Hi,

Can you quickly check if you are able to connect to ODI using SUPERVISOR in internal authentication mode. The error is quite new for me as well. Just trying to help you with all the possibilities..

    Thanks,

    Yaswanth

Thanks again for your help Yashwanth,

Yes error is quite new & I have raised SR with Oracle. Internal authentication with SUPERVISOR  is working fine. I can connect to Master as well as Work repo using SUPERVISOR.
