    Hi,

Please post the error you are receiving. I'm taking a guess here. You may not have set the levels properly. Since F2 is not joined to D1, the F2 measures should be set to Total level of D1 dim.

  • First thing: conformed dimension. I hope all your dims are confirmed or I would ask you what they do there if nobody confirmed they want these dims.

Is that a test? What do we win if we answer right without having anything as input?

I would bet on a wrong configuration of the content levels, this one match 98% of the questions with conformed dimensions.

But of course can also be the database being down, the column name spelled wrongly or any other random error message you maybe had on your screen.

    Hi,

you would have create fake join here between D1 and F2 and map to Total Level

No, a fake join is useless, content levels exist for something.

And if with "fake join" you think at a 1=1 I don't believe you really want a cartesian product between a fact with millions of rows and a dimensions that can easily have thousands of rows (or your DBA will soon call you to ask why you are killing his database).

    Hi Pavan,

As Gianni already said, just set the content levels. If you still aren't getting the desired output something else might be wrong. But we cannot help without posting details.
