Hi @AM HRE , It's not possible. You can export formatted data only from table and pivot visualizations to Excel.

Hi @Dhaval Parikh Stantec , Are you using the visibility parameter option in your DV workbook to select whether to display the bar chart or another visualization? I had exactly the same issue when trying to implement a view selector in a DV workbook, and a table was placed on top of another visualization (e.g. a bar…

Hi @Erik AE , This is the expected behavior. By default, different logical table sources for the same logical table are not combined together. You have 2 options to do the union: If you are using the Model Administration tool to create and manage the RPD, you have to tick the "This source should be combined with other…

Hi @Moriah O'Kelley , You should handle row-level security directly in the dataset by creating role-based filters, instead of doing it at dashboard/workbook level: Please note that when you add role-based filters in the Dataset editor, the preview data shown isn't filtered, but the dataset is filtered when…

Hi @Karthi_obiee , In OAS, you can set the PortalPath in the Console > System Settings page. This setting will be applied to all users when accessing Classic Analytics. As an alternative, each user is able to set a different starting page. In Classic Analytics, they have to click on their profile icon > My Account and…

Hi @User_IPFAK , Does Last(Sum()) work as expected without any column selector/parameter? Can you please be more specific and share some sample data, the current result and what you would like to achieve?
-
Hi @Mirithu , Can you please tell us something more about the dataset? Does it have multiple tables? How did you join them? Are the columns coming from different tables?
-
Hi @Ivony Ann Paula Salango , You have to select (double-click) or create a sub-folder first, if you want to save workbooks under Shared Folders. You also have to make sure that your user/role has write privileges on that folder.

Hi @peacey , Moving from OAS 2024 to OAC, you will get all the features that have been release since March 2024: You should not focus exclusively on the new features and cloud benefits over on-premises solutions. I highly recommend to have a look at all the features that you are probably using but are not available in OAC…

Hi @VijayDC , In OAC it's not possible to grant/revoke permissions to/from default application roles.
-
Hi @Scott Searcy , You could use the replace command of the Catalog Manager: runcat.sh -cmd replace -help You can find more about the Catalog Manager here:
-
Hi @User_L6L9C , Can you confirm that your users are actually stored in the Default domain? Do you have any other identity domain? Have you already tried selecting it to login?
-
My understanding is that you have to use the documented approach to migrate the scheduler data from a source environment (e.g. your Server A) to a target one (e.g. your Server B). I would not export/import RCU data manually.
-
Hi @Tiang , Did you already try the approach described in the documentation?
-
Hi @User_SJEVT , You can easily implement the calculation in Oracle Analytics by using the proper funtions: Use IFNULL instead of NVL Use CURRENT_DATE instead of sysdate Use TIMESTAMPDIFF to calculate the difference between 2 dates (e.g. TIMESTAMPDIFF(SQL_TSI_DAY, CURRENT_DATE, TERM_DUE_DATE) However, I agree with…
-
Hi @Vrinda Choraria , The "Use as Filter" feature does not apply filters when you click on a measure column such as Previous Month Activity Amount USD in your example. It works only when you click on attribute column values.

I'm looking forward to datasets and data flows in the catalog folders!!! 🤩

Hi @Shawn Auman-Oracle , You're right. I tested it by clicking on the play icon instead of opening the workbook from scratch.. As a (suboptimal) workaround, you could attach the note to some data value and filter it out to automatically hide the note. When users select that value from a filter, then the note will be…
-
Hi @Shawn Auman-Oracle , You have to open the workbook editor, hide notes, and then save the workbook.
-
Hi @Tiang , You can't extend the existing domain. You have to create a new one, and select both Oracle Analytics Server, and Oracle Analytics Publisher.
