Why there's the 'Object Required' error when the user try to change POV in FDM, we're using FDM 9.3.1.
The user also encounter the problem that while click the navigation there will be the application error:
Exception Details:
Item p1 not found.
Stack Trace:
at ComponentArt.Web.UI.NavBar.HandlePostback(String stringArgument) at ComponentArt.Web.UI.BaseNavigator.RaisePostBackEvent(String eventArgument) at System.Web.UI.Page.RaisePostBackEvent(IPostBackEventHandler sourceControl, String eventArgument) at System.Web.UI.Page.RaisePostBackEvent(NameValueCollection postData) at System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessRequestMain()
Tks,

Does this happen with all users? What is in the user windows event log? What is in the user error log? I would suggest opening a service request for this issue as it may be a bit more complex than being handled via the Discussion Forum.
Thank You -
You may have an event script 'POVChanged' that is causing the problem.
Does the user error log give you any detail? -
The error occurs only on a specific PC, if the user try on another PC there's no such problem.
We don't use the POVChanged event script. there is not an error log for that user on server side. -
Which version of Internet Explorer is being used when the error is encountered?

Hi,
It could be a possible issue related to IE version / Java Version. Can you please check and update, the IE version and Java Version (It should be 1.5 update 11 till 17 works better with Hyperion 9.3.1).
Regards

The user IE version is 7.0.5730.13, java version is 1.6.0_15.
