Blade 1500 DIMM question

Is it ok to mix DIMM sizes in a blade 1500? I understand they have to be in pairs of equal size.

Example: is this ok?

slot1 = 256 MB
slot2 = 256 MB
slot3 = 512 MB
slot4 = 512 MB

total = 1.5 GB

This seems ok to me, but there seems to be some confusion
and I'm trying to nail it down.
