Hi Experts,

I'd like to ask you something about ERPi+FDM.

I have set up every thing on my servers.
Everything was working. Our work flow is:

Source Oracle is Financial's,
Target is HFM Application.
For drill back & Write back purpose we are using ERPi.
ETL is FDM.

Actually above mentioned components are we have to implement in our current project. Our agenda is DRILL BACK & WRITE BACK from HFM to Source(Oracle is Financial's). My doubt is Why we will use ODI?
In ERPi admin guide is showing must install ODI during ERPi configuration.

My Ques are:
1. With using FDM+ERPi can we send DATA & METADATA from source (Oracle Financial's) to our Target HFM application.

2. Can we load metadata with FDM to Our target HFM application without ERPi?

3. Using ERPi Is it Possible Write Back & Drill Back from HFM to Source without ODI.

4. Is it possible our agenda using (ERPi+FDM) without ODI. If possible Please give me solution, kindly explain the Work flow.

Regards,

Venkat.G

    1. With using FDM+ERPi can we send DATA & METADATA from source (Oracle Financial's) to our Target HFM application. ->>YES (Support for EBS, Peoplesoft and I believe SAP. JDE is still forthcoming)

    2. Can we load metadata with FDM to Our target HFM application without ERPi? ->> No, not possible without ERPi.

    3. Using ERPi Is it Possible Write Back & Drill Back from HFM to Source without ODI. ->> Yes, this is what the tool allows for, loading and writing back data.

    4. Is it possible our agenda using (ERPi+FDM) without ODI. If possible Please give me solution, kindly explain the Work flow. ->>>ERPi = FDM + ODI so you need ODI which is part of the configuration when you set up ERPi.
