Hi All,

I am trying to install a CEP on my laptop. Here is my laptop configuration
RAM : 4GB
Harddisk: 320
OS: Windows 64

Is it suffiicient ?

The file which i downloaded is "ofm_ocep_windows_11.1.1.6.0_32_disk1_1of1" Is it right file to install.
I just double clicked on "ofm_ocep_windows_11.1.1.6.0_32_disk1_1of1" file and followed next next steps, is there anything else apart from this

I downloaded ECLIPSE and I followed below steps but it showing error that not able to update the software
Update Site
To install directly from the update site:

Open Eclipse and navigate to the Help > Install New Software... menu
Note: unchecking the checkbox that says "Contact all update sites during install to find required software" will save a great deal of time
Click the Add button at the top right of the screen
Enter any name you like, then enter http://download.oracle.com/technology/software/cep-ide/11/ in the Location field
Select the category Oracle CEP Tools for Eclipse 3.5 in the update list and click Next
Continue through and complete the wizard
Make sure to select the option to restart Eclipse once the installation is complete

Please help me in resolving this

    Hi, Francis
Normally, you can find the eclipse extend package from the following path based on the CEP server installation folder
    <CEP_Installation_Path>\ocep_11.1\eclipse-update-site\cep-tools-cep-<CEP-versionnumber>.zip

Then, you can install this package from the eclipse by selected it locally.

    Hope it is useful.

The doc links on OTN are wrong. Please go here for the PS5 documentation:

    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/soa.htm

Or for the eclipse installation here:

    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/dev.1111/e14301/ide_intro.htm#CEPED421

    Thanks
