We are looking for a way to integrate Novell Ldap in OID. In the Oracle Directory Manager we opened: Server Management; Integration Server; Configuration Set1.
We cannot find a Novell Import profile. Is there a way do import from Novell ldap using Oracle Directory Manager?

I'm sorry, but there is no adapter for the Novell LDAP Server available. This has to be coded by the customer himself. Unfortunately there is no documentation available for the Novell directory integration, but there is a generic documentation about the third party ldap server integration in the OID Administration Guide.
Or you can also migrate the Novell LDAP Server data into the OID (as described in the chapter "Migrating Data from Other LDAP-Compliant Directories" of the OID Administration Guide).

Dear Customer,
the only thing Oracle provides is the Directory Integration platform, but this is a framework only.
The way changes are recognized on a third party ldap server isn't defined there, because the mechanisms are different for the ldap servers.
As far as I know Novell directory doesn't use a changelogging mechanism they way it is defined in the IETF ldap standards.
As already mentioned Novell Directory Integration has been implemented in Oracle Consulting Projects, but it is not documented within Oracle Support.

I want to integrate Active Directory with Oracle (Tools). There are so many user's stored in the AD it would be nice if they could use one special account on the Oracle DB (or tools) without the need to supply a password.....
