How long it takes to initialize the trial ?

I've signed for trial yesterday (24+ hours ago) however I'm still awaiting any email notification.

The status in My Accounts says:
This service request has been initialized.
You will receive an email with a link to activate your service.

Any idea how long it is supposed to take ?

Thanks,

Jan

  • Dear Jan,
did you request a trial on the page
    https://cloud.oracle.com/mycloud/f?p=service:home:0
    ?
If yes, you will have to wait a little bit longer as Oracle Cloud General Availability is not announced yet ( we expect it to be in the upcoming weeks ) , so nobody has granted any services on Cloud.
All the requests are stored in a queue, and as soon as the public announcement is made, the trials requested will be granted.

    Thank you for your patience.

    Hello Jan:

You would have received an email confirming receipt of your trial order. The services are being provisioned on a first come first serve basis. You will be notified via email no sooner your service is ready for use.

Thank you for your interest in Oracle Cloud.

Within these days I got 2 automated email from oracle.
first one is for confirmation and another is just an update email.

I have been waiting for that since 2 weeks as well.

Isn't there any information about the delay?

I've been waiting nearly 4 weeks to access the cloud database trial. I've contacted oracle via chat about once a week and they still have no information about when it will be ready!
  • I had been waiting for 30+ days. Finally I got my cloud..
