OHS11g unable to redirect the URL from virtual host

Hi All,

       I have a requirement to hide the port(7001) of Weblogic Console and EM using OHS11g at the time hitting the console and em url.

       for weblogic server console url should be - https://abc.xyz.com/console rather that http://asnnet.fusn.com:7001/console  and EM url  should be https://abc.xyz.com/em rather that http://asnnet.fusn.com:7001/em.

        Where asnnet.fusn.com is my hostname.

       I have successfully configured the OHS11g with Weblogic11g(10.3.6). I also modified the httpd.conf file and mod_wl_ohs.conf file.

       The url mentioned below  open without any issue and OHS is redirecting the console and em . http://asnnet.fusn.com:7777/console and http://asnnet.fusn.com:7777/em.

       If I try to open the url like https://abc.xyz.com/console or https://abc.xyz.com/em then page is not open(server not found).

       I created the virtual host(abc.xyz.com) on OHS . Below are the entries added on httpd.conf file. Is any where I missed to configure the virtual host to meet my requirements ?

               LoadModule certheaders_module /u01/fmw/product/111/ohs_instance1/ohs/modules/mod_certheaders.so
NameVirtualHost *:7777

<VirtualHost *:7777>
ServerName https://abc.xyz.com:443
ServerAdmin [email protected]
RewriteEngine On
RewriteOptions inherit
SimulateHttps On
</VirtualHost>

<VirtualHost *:7777>
ServerName asnnet.fusn.com:7777
ServerAdmin [email protected]
RewriteEngine On
RewriteOptions inherit
</VirtualHost>

Thanks In Advance.

    Hi,

    I m assuming you have initally configured mod_wl_20.so,if no then follow below link..
    http://middlewaremagic.com/weblogic/?p=1311

    After following the above link,Make the below changes in http.conf file..

    Listen 80

    <IfModule mod_ssl.c>

        # SSL name based virtual hosts are not yet supported, therefore no

        # NameVirtualHost statement here

        Listen 443

    </IfModule>

    <VirtualHost *:80>

    ServerName abc.xyz.com:80

    </VirtualHost>

    <VirtualHost *:443>

    ServerName abc.xyz.com:443

    </VirtualHost>

    Thanks and Regards,

    Fabian
