Perform simple POST / GET operation of an URL using Oracle HTTP Adapter

Hi Experts,

I would like to know how we can implement HTTP Adapter in Oracle SOA 11g to perform a simple post / GET  operation of an URL ( Which is not a web service).

Oracle documentation hasn't provided enough details regarding the same.

I guess we can use HTTP Adapter to consume / Produce  RESTFUL Service , Correct me if I am wrong.

I have already done fair amount of R & D on the same.
