Load database data to weblogic portal content management

Hi Experts,

we are planning to load a database data to weblogic portal content management, however upon searching oracle documentation, i found bulkloader to import contents, however, correct me if i'm wrong there's no procedure in there on how to import database data to weblogic portal content management. please advise what are your recommendations and if there's a step by step procedure on doing this.

Hello,

you're right there is no OOTB tool that you can use to import data from a database to the WLP content repository. The bulkloader only uses the file system.

You can achieve this using the CMS API inside your portal application.
