How to convert text-based numbers to values?

ilinutzaFeb 25 2014 — edited Feb 26 2014

Hi,

When using the function <<Date(M)>>, for February for example it will display '2'. When trying to use this value 2 in a simple product [A]*[B], it seems that the value is not taken into account in the formula which makes me think that actually my number '2' is a text-based number and not a numeric one. I have also tried with conditional formatting to replace 'Feb' with 2 but I get the same result. Do you have any solution for this? Is there a function that converts text to values?

Many thanks,

Ily
