Hi,

After selecting Map in Activities and setting the current location when we browse for Target value for the Dimension View we are receiving the below error :

Error: Expected Statement

At Line:1

Detailed Stacktrace :

upsWBlockProcessorDM.clsBlockProcessorClass.DimensionList(strDimName[String],lngDimType

[Int32],lngMarshalType[Int32],binListAllMembers[Boolean],

Hyperion.FDM.ObjScriptReturnsMarshaler,GetDimensionList(strDimensionName[String],

lngDimensionType[Int32],objAS[clsAppServerDM],objPage[Page],OnlyFromSession[Boolean])

Hyperion.FDM.Dialogs.TargetKeyLookupDialog.PopulateGrid()

Hyperion.FDM.Dialogs.TargetKeyLookupDialog.Page_Load(sender[Object],e[EventArgs])

Also when we click update grid we receive the following error :

Error:Error adding new record

Detail: An invalid value was entered for the dimension(View)

Stacktrace:

Hyperion.FDM.Pages.MapsPage.HandleNewRow(r[Row&])

Please help me resolving this issue.

    Hello,

May be your previously mapped file is containing some unsupported special characters.

" Using the following characters in source or target FDM mapping is not allowed and may cause

    mapping problems:

    l Ampersand (&)

    l Asterisk (*)

    l Question Mark (?)

    l Greater Than (>)

    l Less Than (<)

    l Apostrophe (')

    l Quote (“)

    l Semicolon (;)

l Underscore (_) (can be used for Explicit mapping only)

    "

llet us know after the trail.

VIEW is not a mappable dimension.

Did you name one of the custom dimensions "View" and what target dimension is it mapped to in the outline?
