Hi I am getting this error while saving interface. All data stores in a data set should be joined. This data set has several sets of disconnected source data stores. The sets are: [PRO] ; [EMP].To design a Cartesian product, create a join and select Cross Join in its properties UN categorized exception during repository access. ORA-01400 cannot insert null into ("odi-work')

    HI,

I included  2 data sets, which are [PRO] ; [EMP] on source side Unknowingly, But one data set is hidden. So i haven't seen one data set.I removed one data set.

    So Issue is resolved.

    Hi

Can you please change the datatype (in ODI level at a time reverse engine in model) from String to Fixed String.

There are 2 different data types for Flat Files (or) CSV file which are processed differently by ODI:

    • String : Strings which are always right trimmed to remove blanks (spacebar characters) and which will eventually return a null value when only white space data (spacebar characters) are present
    • Fixed String : All blanks present in the data are retained.

    Hope this may helps you

    Regards,
