Automating HFM Application check in Workspace

Hi Everyone,
I'm using Hyperion 11.1.2.1.
Generally to do a normal check we Open Workspace URL-->Enter USERNAME and PASSWORD-->then Navigate-->Applications-->Consolidation-->then selecting any HFM Application.
If Application gets opened without any issue then we get confirmed that HFM Application is working fine.
Please let me know is there any way (using any scripting/programming language) to automate above check and getting an alert notification ?

Try EPMA Batch client see: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E17236_01/epm.1112/epma_batch_user.pdf
Thanks,

Thanks KKT for directing me to EPMA Batch client.
I just checked its documentation but it doesn't seem to have a way to this navigation and check : Open Workspace URL-->Enter USERNAME and PASSWORD-->then Navigate-->Applications-->Consolidation-->then selecting any HFM Application.
Please can you throw some more light over it ?

Hi Sunny,
I think that the best way to do a sanity check is to check the log files....
There are cases where application errors do not appear immediately but after a certain event (like increased number of users).
