Email notification issues?

I'm configuring emails through EM for our BPM server.

I noticed these errors for emails sent out with the "Workflow" source (emails that are getting sent automatically once someone is assigned a task), but emails sent out from the "BPEL" source (emails that are sent out through notification tasks or the email that got sent out from the "Send Test Notification" button) go through fine. There's only one email driver in use, and the from address is the same for all.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to why one method works but not the other?

(the one "retry" status was me clicking on resend for it, but it said error earlier as well, like all the other "WORKFLOW" source emails...)

Suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
