Source System (ADP) to HCM Integration - Best Practice

Oracle Support has recommended we use a non supported product to automate the integration between our ADP source of record to the HCM application tables.
The product they recommended is the HDLdi (HCM Data Loader Desktop Integrator) and does appear to fit my needs exactly. It will automate the load from ADP to WCC and then from WCC to the HCM application tables.
The problem however, is how can I recommend a solution to my company that is not supported by Oracle.
Am I missing something? Just not used to this ... a recommendation from a company that does not support the recommendation ( makes my head spin :-))
