Does Oracle Discoverer 11g (11.1.1.7) work with Oracle Database 12c?

I cannot find any official documentation on a combination of Discoverer 11g (11.1.1.7) and Oracle Database 12c.

I have seen a number of threads about this but no answers.

Is this a possible combination and is it supported by Oracle?

I have not tried this myself but it should be easy enough to test. All you need is an existing Discoverer install and an installed 12c database. Then just create yourself an EUL user and connect using the Admin tool to see if it will allow you to create a new EUL. If that succeeds then I'd suggest installing the Video Tutorial EUL and data and try running the reports.

If anyone has done this please reply.

We're actually using 12C with EBS 12.1.3 and haven't seen any issues but do test it in a non-prod environment first like we did.  I don't think there's an official support for it.  We are looking for alternatives for the future.

Actually we have a plan to go-live with Oracle Database upgrade 12c during
this weekend. We have checked the Discoverer Administrative working fine on the
new database but haven’t checked the Discoverer desktop,

Is this a risk? we thought it will work but after reading certain blocks got
doubt. Have you got any error or challenge. We are on the same EBS version that
is 12.1.3.

Further would you please let me know the step to check the Discoverer desktop
with 12c database.

while it is not certified by oracle, we use Discoverer with a 12c database, no issues.

Discoverer is certified for use with the 12.1.0.1 database.  See Note 233047.1 (How To Find Oracle BI Discoverer 10g and 11g Certification Information).  This note gives instructions on finding certification as well as FAQs concerning certification.  Higher versions of 12c have not been tested as Discoverer is no longer under premier support. 
I suspect it will work; however, they are not supported and as stated by others, test it thoroughly in a non Prod environment.
