Getting error 'Property java.home not allowed to be set or got' from application deployed to JCS

Hi All,

I am trying to generate a PDF report using xml publisher apis from inside an ADF application. It works fine locally. But when deployed to JCS, while calling rtfProcessor.process(), I am getting Property java.home not allowed to be set or got. Is there any workaround to bypass this error.

Please help.

Thanks,

ashok

Presumably you are trying this in "JCS Saas Extension" ? Assuming so I am not aware of a workaround as the documentation explicitly states:

The following categories of system properties are not available to be either get or set. Attempting to do so will result in an access control exception.
    - Java system properties related to the Java Security Manager.
    - Java system properties related to WebLogic Server security.
    - Java system properties related to the JVM specification.

You might want to try it in full JCS, see Want try Java Cloud Service?
