Oracle Java SE Cloud

Hi ,
Can anyone who is a PAAS expert answer these questions:
(1)Why is the Database cloud service mandatory before a customer can subscribe to the Java SE Cloud service?
(2)What if the customer does not want the database cloud ? Is it then an option to connect the on-premise database to the Java SE Cloud ? Is it accomplished with the Integration cloud ?
(3)How viable is it to connect on-premise database to java SE Cloud. ?
I would really appreciate some input into this ? Thanks

Hi Latha,
You said "Java SE Cloud Service" so I'm going to assume you mean the Java SE support that is part of the Application Container Cloud Service (ACCS). Java SE applications deployed to ACCS do not require a database cloud service.
