ODBC error when trying to connect to TimesTen server

We used to work with linux TimeTen server 7 and Windows server 2008 as TimesTen client. The Windows TimesTen client used ODBC connection to communicate with server.

Now we are upgrading to TimesTen server 11.2.2.8 and Windows server 2012. Trying to work with the ODBC connection results in the message:

ERROR [HY010] [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] The driver is incapable of supporting the current environment attributes

What can be the cause of such an error?

I have never seen this error before. Please log an SR with support so that they can investigate the cause of this issue and provide a resolution.
