Can't Login to Oracle Discoverer Administrator and Desktop but can login to Discoverer Plus & EBS.

We are using Discoverer Admin and Desktop in our PC.

Issue:

we are not able to connect specific databases using Discoverer Admin and Desktop. However we are able to login Discoverer plus and EBS with same user details.

error message:

Discoverer: Unable to connect to Oracle Applications database: invalid username/password

Previously we were able to connect to our database using Discoverer Admin with that user.

Would you please help to find out the solution to this issue?

    Solution:

    We have recently applied JRE7 patches and after that we started facing this issue.

    I just checked Doc ID 465234.1 and found "JRE 7 is not currently certified with Discoverer 10g; however, it is certified with Discoverer 11g (11.1.1.6. and later)"

    Now we are upgrading Discoverer dekstop and Admin from 10g to 11g.
