iPlanet 7.0.23 Client authentication enabled

Hi,

We are using iPlanet Webserver 7.0.23 with client authentication :required and enabled TLS 1.2 with supported ciphers.

While trying to connect from browser, currently I am able to connect with certificates with SHA256 Signature Algorithm.

However on trying to connect using SHA1 client certificate we are getting 403 error.

Both the CAs are trusted and the same certificate works if TLS 1.0 is enabled on the webserver.

Is there a restriction set on the webserver for TLS 1.2 or can it be configured in webserver for supporting client authentication with certificates with SHA1 Signature algorithm?
