Hi,

anyone knows how to substract an amount during load of data in HFM.

e.g: amount in HFM account 10201 needs to be subtracted from account 20110

This is from the same entity, and customer is using flat files.

Cheers,

M

There are multiple solutions for that requirement and all depends on your context.

at which step do you want the subtract to happen?

as it seems you want to do at target account level you may need to have an event script which does the subtract.

Yes, any example of FDM event script for doing that?

    Hi Francisco,

Is it possible to use a Logic Group? I saw there is a subtract sign there, but it requires value instead of variable...

My subtraction of amount is based on the different account.

I would like to subtract the below:

    amount account 10201 -  amount in account 20110 ,

The result of the subtraction will be exported as Amount of account 10201 which will be mapped to account 10202.

    Best,

    M

you can do it with logic accounts but bear in mind that logic accounts are defined on source dimensions,
