Hello,

one of my customer is using classic FDM and would like to erase some lines of data in 1 location.

Is it possible to do it from FDM directly without going into the database?

Cheers.

So, your customer wants to delete a few records in the Workbench prior to exporting to the target system?  Nope, no way to do that.

One of the key reasons to use FDM is to establish internal controls for compliance.  If a user could easily modify data in Workbench auditors wouldn't be a fan of the tool.

Your customer can consider 2 options: Update the source data in the ERP system and reload the data through FDM or adjust the data in the target system.  If the customer is using HFM, they can create a journal.  This way they can correct the data and the traceability of the information is preserved.

    Good luck!
