Can the DRM Float property Data Type be limited in its precision without using validations?

I'd like to limit the value of a Float datatype property to 4 decimal point precision, and prevent users from entering more than 4 decimal points without using validations. Is this possible?

As per DRM Admin:
Floating point value Format is based on the regional settings associated with the user's session.
I haven't tested it but please check the below,

Interesting. I'll take a look at this though I fear it will change ALL decimal point precisions in DRM, which isn't ideal. It would be great if there were a more targeted approach.
