Disk for Sparc T4-4

Hi All,

My Client has a Sparc T4-4 Server with 2 300 GB internal disk, now he need to upgrade his internal storage. As per the system book the supported HDD is SAS-2 disk and the part number shows 542-0287. This item has a end of life on June 1st 2017. And next available is new SAS-3 HDD (Part number: 7111103).

So my question is will the Sparc T4-4 support SAS-3 disks? as i understand T4-4 has SAS-2 controllers.
