Hi,

I am facing some issue while using Absolute Signage Method in data load rule.

I though it should keep the positive value as positive and change negative values to positive. But this isn't how it is working at my end....

It is just changing the signs..... make positive negative and making negative positive.

Is this how this absolute functions works?

Regards

By flip it means... it will change positive to negative and negative to positive?

    How is this absolute?

How is it difference from reverse sign?

I think reverse will change every account regardless of it's type. Kindly correct me if i am wrong.

It is Absolute because it is making the signage for all account types positive as long as the account types follow the typical signage convention in the GL, positively signed accounts will not be changed. Reverse sign will change all signage regardless of original signage i.e. positive will be changed to negative unlike with the Absolute method.
