Network configuration during BIOS/ILOM firmware upgrade

Hi guys,

I used the OHIA to upgrade my hba firmware on X4270 M2 servers.

It runs fine but when I tried to upgrade system BIOS and ILOM, the assistant required a network configuration.

I configured it but it didn't work, I finally had to upgrade through ILOM gui.

Could someone please explain which network configuration is needed to upgrade ?

Documentation just tells "If your server supports inband upgrades (using the server's internal circuitry and not the network), then two system BIOS and Oracle ILOM upgrade options appear in the task list: System BIOS and ILOM Upgrades (uses inband interface) and System BIOS and ILOM Upgrades (uses network interface)."

Thanks.
